CANDOFM EASTER haf Radio Club

We plan to run media and radio workshops for young children that will be an interactive and educational programme that teaches young people about the different aspects of radio and media production. The workshops will be tailored for young people between the ages of 7 and 16 and would be designed to be fun and engaging while also providing a hands-on learning experience.

During the workshop, young people would be introduced to the basics of radio and media production, such as how to use a microphone, how to operate a sound board, and how to record and edit audio. They would also learn about the different roles and responsibilities of a radio or media producer, such as writing scripts, conducting interviews, and creating sound effects.

Activities in the workshop could include creating their own radio show, recording a news segment, or making a podcast. young people would also learn about the importance of storytelling and how to communicate effectively through the medium of radio and media.

The workshop would be led by experienced media professionals who would be able to provide guidance and support as the children work on their projects. The workshop would be designed to be age-appropriate and would aim to foster creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning in young people.

Radio workshops will also include going out and about to conduct interviews in the local area close to the station.
