CANDOFM EASTER haf Radio Club

CANDOFM is running media radio, drama, music & DJ'n workshops for young children that will be an interactive and educational programme The workshops will be tailored for young people between the ages of 7 and 16 and would be designed to be fun and engaging while also providing a hands-on learning experience.

Activities in the workshop could include creating their own radio show, writing and performing in a play, recording a news segment, making a podcast, mixing up some beats and making tunes!!. Young people would also learn about the importance of storytelling and how to communicate effectively through radio and media.

The workshop would be led by experienced media professionals who will provide guidance and support as the children work on their projects. The workshop is designed to be age-appropriate and aim to foster creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning in young people.

Radio workshops will also include going out and about to conduct interviews in the local area close to the station. Lunch is provided by Holiday Inn Barrow!

Which sessions would you like to book?

Sessions are 9am - 12pm. Lunch at the Holiday Inn from 12pm-1pm

As a media organisation, we intend to record audio and capture video and images throughout the project to broadcast and share via social media. As parent/ guardian do you consent for images of the young person, you are registering to be used?

During the course, young people will be asked to walk to other areas within 1 mile of the CANDOFM studio. They will be accompanied at all times by CANDOFM staff. Do you give consent for the young person being registered to participate in the way described?
